CLOUD-BASED LIVE VIDEO PRODUCTION
Tellyo Studio features a powerful cloud-based live vision mixer/production switcher that helps bring broadcast-quality production values to your digital and social streams.
It includes eight Mix Effect (ME) units, each with multiple asset layers, allowing users to blend live video and audio sources, VOD assets, live graphics and remote guest inputs.
Tellyo Studio is a multi-user platform that enables media professionals to work fully remotely. Remote productions are generally more cost and time efficient, increasing the production capacity of your media team and improving profitability.

AUDIO MIXER
- Tellyo Studio’s audio mixer supports up to 64 audio channels.
- Provides control of volume, volume normalisation, gain, audio follow video (AFV), direct mix (ON), mute, full equalizer, compression, listening to pre-fade post-fade audio and more.
- The audio mixer includes both SIP inputs and SIP outputs. Each SIP connection is visible as a separate input with its own volume and gain control.
MULTI-VIEWER
- Provides the Technical Director with remote and parallel access to assets to inform real-time decisions.
- Allows users to configure a mosaic view of multiple sources, such as live streams, scenes and web sources, including preview and program windows.
- Enables on-screen monitoring of stream quality by a second or even third user.
GUEST
- The Remote Guest function is built using WebRTC technology for ultra-low latency.
- Allows multiple external guests to be brought into Tellyo Studio, with options for 4, 8 and 16 guests as standard and up to 40 guests with custom configuration.
- Supports various production scenarios, including remote live commentary, creating a second/local language feed ahead of restreaming, and guest panellists within a live broadcast.
- This feature support multiple guest rooms, multiple guests in a production for different panels and multiple green rooms.
- Guest sources – webcams, tablets and phones – are all treated as independent RTMP feeds in the mix.
REPLAY AND SLOW MOTION TOOLS
- Enables a user to create instant replays from up to four live sources on the fly.
- The replays can be cued or pushed instantly into a live production.
- The replay module can be controlled by the Technical Director (single person productions) or a dedicated replay operator.
- Features a single button to “Capture for a replay” from the production window – use straight away or fine-tune control in the replay module for the dedicated operator.
SIP / INTERCOM & SOURCE ROUTING
- SIP comms integration allows talkback and audio channel assignment.
- A progressive source router for easy production configuration and on the fly changes.
- Throughput at up to 20Mbps, in line with many Digital TX transmissions.
- Superfast 200ms switching from a potential 24 feeds and 8 scenes – the effects allow for multi-layer camera feeds and mix assets.
ACCOUNT AND CONTENT PERMISSION CONTROLS
Tellyo Studio includes various permission controls for accounts/users and content rights management.
- Admins can control what content can be accessed, how the content can be used and where the content can be published/streamed.
- Permissions can be set for single users or groups of users, including embargos and geo restrictions.
- Content can be locked to include pre-prepared graphics, overlays, sponsored bumpers, watermarks and/or sponsor logos.
- Social media comments can be moderated and selectively displayed.
STREAM TO MULTIPLE DESTINATIONS SIMULTANEOUSLY
- Tellyo Studio allows you to stream broadcast quality content to multiple social media channels, websites, apps and OTT platforms.

Stream requirements for ingesting a stream into Tellyo Studio:

- Resolution: 720p /1080p (Aspect ratio 16:9)
- Bitrate: standard up to 10Mbps, custom setup up to 20Mbps
- Frame rate: 23.98/24/25/29.97/30/50/59.94/60 FPS
- Scan type: progressive (preferred) and interlaced
- Video codec: MPEG-2, H.264, H.265, VP8, VP9 (high profile preferred)
- GOP size (keyframe interval): 2 seconds
AUDIO
- Audio codec: MP2, MP3, AAC, Opus
- Audio sampling: 48 kHz (preferred), 44.1 kHz
- Audio bitrate: at least 128kbps for speech, 256kbps for music, up to 512kbps
- Single audio track streams are preferred. In case of multi audio SRT and HLS streams the track selection is made based on default audio track descriptor (lack of proper metadata will result inadequate results).
